Do I need to cover saw cuts?

My current client has worked with 3 different contractors before me. Each made weird saw cuts for marking the concrete and it's pissing me off. I'm leaning towards having to fill the saw cuts in because it's gonna cause spalling or cracking. Client said she isn't bothered but well... what do you expect they never told her what's gonna happen. Do I insist?

If you think it'll cause long-term issues, it's worth insisting. It's your reputation on the line, and filling those cuts now could save you headaches down the road

I get why you're frustrated, if the saw cuts will lead to spalling, it might cost more down the line. Maybe suggest a fix that keeps the integrity intact without pushing too hard

Would definitely insist cos it doesn't matter if she thinks it's fine now, when it starts chipping or cracking and looking like crap down the line, guess who's getting the blame? You. Even if it's not your cut, I'd explain it straight: the sloppy saw marks are stress points just waiting to fail.
