Small ICF project

The fam's currently working on a 20'x22'8" ICF basement addition, and the experience has been incredibly smooth. We utilized 8" Logix ICF forms and within just 4 or 5 hours we had everything formed, braced and reinforced. The only hold up has been waiting for the town inspector but that hasnt lessened my enthusiasm for the project! TBF this is why I believe ICF is such an excellent option for constructions like this. Will share a photo once it's completed..

But the shipping fee with ICF is kind of a pain. around $15 to $20 for standard size and it can go higher

Yeah that shipping cost can sting a bit but the speed and ease of the build almost make it worth every penny.

Wow, 4-5 hours for forming, bracing, and reinforcing that size of an ICF basement? That's quite impressive! What was your team size to do all that?

Thanks for the kind words! We had a team of 5 people working like a well oiled machine which made the process fly by. It's amazing what teamwork and the right materials can do. Felt like building a house out of Lego bricks!
