How many people will it take to do this?

My brother wants to make a practice basketball court for his sons and he's trying to get me to do the pour for 40' x 80' x 4". Wow. Yes he has that much faith in me. But I was wondering how many people would take to finish it and how long? The kids will be out for a retreat over the weekend and he's forcing me to come finish before then.
 
It's a lot of area so if this is not your expertise i don't think you and your brother will be able to get it done yourself. I mean, yeah that's a hell of a big basketball court.

That's a big ask, man, you're looking at over 39 yards of concrete, definitely not a one man job unless you've got superpowers. I'd say at least 4–6 experienced guys to pour and finish it right, and you'll need everything lined up tight to get it done in a day.

That's a monster slab! Hahaha kinda flattering he thinks you're Superman. I believe at least 6 people will take to finish it. Maybe more if y'all aren't pros. Get a power trowel and plan for a full day grind. It's possible. :)
 
I once helped a friend tackle a 30x30 challenge with just the three of us, and honestly, I thought we'd be cooked before lunchtime. You really need a dependable team and to have everything set up beforehand. When it comes to that scale, there's absolutely no time for holdups
