Need help with floor prep

Soooo I'm planning to replace my carpet and linoleum this weekend and I hope it's done as early as next week. I live in a simple 1-bedroom apartment and it's not really much space and I'm simply going for stained concrete. How can I go about that? What are your tips and are there some equipment like a grinder I'd need to strip the concrete? I'm open for suggestions!

Personally i think your floor should be kinda perfect becausr the stain will not entirely cover it. maybe you can check out those spray on with stencils?
